The nurse practitioner was able to find the heartbeat with a doppler
Since the little nugget was only about 9 weeks and 4 days or so, it can apparently be hard to find the heartbeat that way. Not this little one. She found it, and measured it at about 170 beats per minute.
So that's a definite plus! She said things look good so far! We're not due to go back until September 20th now, but all seems to be going well.
Right now, the little nugget is somewhere between the size of a prune, kumquat or lime (in length).
